Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a wonderful way for customers to share in the benefits of a delicious and healthy crop of locally-grown fruits and vegetables, sourced from our farm and from our partner farms here in the local area.
For 18 consecutive weeks starting in June, you will receive a share of delicious crops based upon seasonal availability. Throughout the summer and fall you will enjoy an ever-changing selection of fresh-picked produce. Our CSA is designed to provide members with farm-fresh, premium fruits and vegetables each week at a discounted price.
What's New?
- Pick Your Produce. Customers are now able to pick out their own produce from the dedicated CSA bins. This allows customers to pick each produce they receive themselves to meet their own satisfaction.
- Harvest Shares. This share starts around the first week of August and will be a Medium size share for 9 weeks. This share eliminates the early season portion of CSA, which would include berries and greens.
- 10% off Milk, Eggs & Cheese. From the first week of your CSA Pick-up to the last week, you're able to receive 10% off milk, eggs, & cheese at the Apple Barrel Farm Market
- CSA Exclusive Discount Deals. We will announce frequent discount deals that will only be valid for CSA members.
- Reusable Bags. Each CSA member will receive a Lyman Orchards reusable bag on their first pick up date to pack their produce. Each CSA member is responsible for bringing their reusable back back each pick up day.
What is a CSA Program?
Simply put, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between a farm and a community of supporters that provides you with a direct connection to the farm.
CSA members support their local farm by sharing the costs, risks, and bounty of growing food along with the farmer. In return, the farm provides a healthy supply of seasonal fresh produce throughout the growing season.
Becoming a partner creates a responsible relationship between people and the food they eat, the land on which it is grown and those who grow it.
